All the 32 ambulances in the Värmland (Sweden) Region will be replaced by new Tamlans Volkswagen Amarok modular ambulances within the next few years.
Värmland county council’s decision to replace the old ambulances by new Amarok -modular ambulances was based on it’s ergonomics, safety and comfort of the working space, passenger car-like drivability and passability.
Before the new year, 6 new Amarok-ambulances are in use and 5-6 ambulances will be replaced annually.

This multifunctional unit has capabilities for various types of emergency care and rescue tasks. The hybrid ambulance improves the service level of the rescue service, enhances its operation and enables 24/7 response level.

Region Kronoberg has ordered 9 pcs Tamlans-modified Volkswagen Amarok modular ambulances to their Hospital District.

The very first simulation ambulance has taken in use in University of Applied Sciences in South-Eastern Finland. The simulator is made of a new ambulance and it is full of primary care facilities. In addition, the simulatoris connected to amotion platform and driving simulation operating environment.
